Peridot forms deep in the Earth’s mantle. It travels upward through volcanic activity before reaching the surface. Its green color is bright and unmistakable.
Ancient civilizations believed peridot protected against negative energy.
Spinel has an interesting history. For centuries it was mistaken for ruby. Some famous “rubies” in royal crowns were later discovered to be spinels.
It occurs in many colors. Red. Pink. Blue. Even violet.
Sardonyx is very different again. A banded form of chalcedony with layers of contrasting colors. For thousands of years artisans carved it into cameos and seals.
Together these stones represent vitality, creativity, and quiet strength.
